PEACH™ deploys at ENFORCE 2009 Vendor Exhibition

As the needs of the United States military continue to evolve on the battleground, so do the private-industry manufacturers and engineers that support the Department of Defense. Innovation and technology that can save United States Armed Forces has become top priority due to the broad range of environmental challenges troops face around the world.

On Site Manufacturing had the opportunity to deploy the PEACH™ (Packaged Electric Air Conditioning Heating) First Responder Emergency Equipment at the Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, ENFORCE 2009 Vendor Exhibition.

PEACH™ Unit Demonstrations Held for Officials and Emergency Personnel

Three years after the attacks of 9/11, a conversation with New York City officials was the start of a new venture for On Site Manufacturing, Inc. and a new product now known as the PEACH™ Unit – “Packaged Electric Air Conditioning and Heating.” This new unit, developed with First Responders in mind, provides heat, air conditioning and electricity to allow emergency personnel to conduct business in any emergency or disaster situation.

PEACH™ at the Tunnel To The Towers Run

New York City, New York - September 28, 2008 - The Tunnel to the Towers Run is an annual event honoring New York Fireman Stephen Siller. Stephen was not on duty that fateful day of September 11, 2001, but upon learning of the terrorist attacks, tried to make his way into the city. He made it as far as the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel before being prohibited from going further. He donned his gear, and with it strapped to his back, ran from the tunnel to the World Trade Center complex where, it is assumed, he went to join his Squad. Stephen and his entire Squad perished. The race retraces the steps Stephen took that day.

“Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk” selects On Site Energy Co., Inc.

“Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk” selects On Site Energy Co., Inc. to supply power along the path for the thousands who attend the annual event in honor of Firefighter Stephen Siller, his 342 FDNY brothers, and all those lost on 9/11.

As more than 15,000 participants from the metropolitan area and across the country prepared to retrace the heroic path Stephen Siller took from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center on 9/11, On Site Energy Co. (OSEC) was busy setting up Green Power electrical distribution points along the way. This event has raised over $5 million for burn victims, orphans, Katrina relief and other causes since it started seven years ago. OSEC had supplied power after both World Trade Center terror attacks, first to the Towers themselves and second to the surrounding areas and was proud to be a part of this event.
